They are categorized as hard commodities (gold, silver, oil, copper) and soft commodities (wheat, coffee, sugar, cotton). Commodity prices are influenced by supply and demand, geopolitical events, weather, and currency movements. They are traded via futures, CFDs, and ETFs.
